SALES CONSULTANT
Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Sales Manager on the annual business plan, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, to establish upcoming sales quotas.
Exceeding monthly quota objectives through outbound sales activities
Accurately forecasting opportunities on realistic assessments
Strategically managing the pipeline of opportunities
Meeting internal metrics including: call/visit volume, number of opportunities, and closed business
Qualify business opportunities by proactively initiating outbound calls/visits to senior level management and probing prospects to determine needs
Utilize and manage prospect information with a comprehensive customer relationship management system
Optimize productivity and follow up on all leads in a timely manner
Research prospective industries and companies to assess their suitability for our website services
Prepare presentations and cost proposal
Other duties as assigned within job function
Requirements (knowledge, skills and abilities):
Candidate should have a min. of 4 years sales experience (solution sales approach), preferably in relationship-based selling, and an in-depth knowledge of sales techniques and customer , relationship management
Consistent track record of success in closing business and creating and managing a pipeline of opportunities
Having an excellent understanding of company’s businesses
Goal-oriented, self-motivated person that demonstrates integrity and pays attention to detail
Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
Courteous, conscientious, professional In both presentation and appearance
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in both an individual and team environment with minimal supervision
